Rain Garden Installation
Chronic backyard flooding after moderate rain events. Standing water persisted for days, damaging landscaping and creating a muddy unusable yard.
What We Did
Assessed site grading, soil composition, and drainage patterns. Designed a rain garden sized to capture runoff from the roof and driveway. Selected native Wisconsin plants suited to the wet-dry cycle of a rain garden basin.
Results
Rain garden captures approximately 800 gallons per rain event. Standing water issues eliminated. Native plantings established and attracting pollinators within one season.
