Landscape Transformation

Lawn requiring significant water, fertilizer, and maintenance. Homeowner wanted a more sustainable yard that supported local wildlife and reduced upkeep.

What We Did

Conducted a full property assessment identifying existing plants including several invasive species. Designed a phased native plant conversion plan. Recommended specific Wisconsin-native species for each area of the yard.

Results

Converted 60 percent of turf to native plantings. Estimated 60 percent reduction in maintenance time. Significant increase in pollinators and bird activity observed by second season.
